Full Description

Remains of a church, dedicated to St Marnan, and associated graveyard. An inscription on the east gable dated the erection to 1500 but it is supposed to have been built in the early 14th Century. A low grass-covered bank marks the southeast wall of the church and the southeast cornerstone is just visible. Only the outline of three sides can be discerned. There are a number of late 18th Century and early 19th century gravestones and several table tombs of similar pattern within. The graveyard is still in use (Category C(S) Listed).

Period Notes
