Full Description
Remains of an oval enclosure measuring circa 80m by 50m. It appears to pre-date the trackway (NJ54NE0057) which utilises the eastern side of the dyke and predates or is contemporary with a denuded bank (NJ54NE0059) which abuts it on its northwest side. It is faced on the outside, suggesting a need to keep stock out rather than in. It may have enclosed a small plantation of trees. It is suggested that it may possibly relate to the unlocated park of Corncagrin mentioned in 1563.
