Full Description
A burial cairn, one of two, lies on the South facing slope near the summit of Hill of Retanach. It is believed never to have never been opened, though in the centre are the remains of a 'lozenge-shaped chamber' built of dry-stone walling standing 0.2m above the general level of the cairn outside. This chamber appears to be relatively modern and is probably a crude shooting butt built from cairn material.
