Full Description
Alleged site of stone circle. Coles in 1902 noted that there was a standing stone, considered to be the remains of a stone circle. To the east of the cart road was a row of 60-70 huge fragments of syenite and whinstone along side of a dyke. OS site visit 1961 concluded that the row of stones was the result of normal field clearance and not remains of a stone circle. A single standing stone remains in the rear garden of the modern house.
