Full Description
Healing well. It is depicted on the OS maps from the 1st edition OS map onwards. It appears to be more of a sump with the burn falling into it than a well and is unusual amongst the wells of Gartly Woods as it is not near an old trackway.
MORRIS, 1982, SCOTTISH HEALING WELLS, 28 (Bibliographic reference). SAB1157.
