Farmstead and mill, now only in residential use, depicted on historic OS maps.

Farmstead and mill, now only in residential use, depicted on historic OS maps. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as a group of five small buildings with a pond. On the 2nd edition OS map the three smaller buildings have been removed, and a new larger building added. There are additions and alterations to the two remaining earlier buildings. Current OS maps show further additions and alterations to the two earlier buildings, the later building is depicted as roofless and the pond has been infilled, although a small waterway is still depicted on its site in the form of a drain. A photographic survey of the farmhouse (easternmost building) was carried out in 2017 prior to proposed alterations and extension. A Level 1 Standing Building Survey of the mill (southernmost building) was carried out in 2017 by MAS prior to proposed conversion. It has originally been a water-powered mill, with a drive shaft setting and blocked wheel setting recorded on the south elevation. The steading (roofless building) was recorded as being almost totally demolished.
