Full Description
Whin-mill stone, of the crusher type, lying in field close to farm buildings. The rest of the whin-mill was destroyed years ago. The associated farmstead is shown on the 1st edition OS map of 1867 as an L-plan steading with square walled enclosure to the north. By the 2nd edition map of 1888, the steading has been altered to a U-plan. The west wing of this building appears to survive, but the has been added to.
