Full Description
Remains of a cairn. A cairn measuring 120ft (circa 36.5m) in diameter and 25ft (circa 7.6m) in height was partially removed before 1840 revealing several cists. In one of the cists was an urn which contained ashes and pieces of bone. partly removed before 1840. RCAHMS site visit 1994 recorded the remains of the cairn which has largely been reduced to a scatter of small quarry pits and spreads of stone now turfed over. On the west and southwest are four or five possible kerb stones.
