Full Description

Cairns recorded by Ogston in 1931, who also identified at least one hut circle. OS 1968 recorded this as an area of minor field clearance. Traces of a hollow-way noted by Ogston were then barely visible but fairly modern and only a few cairns could then be seen. No hut circles could be found but it was suggested that here, as elsewhere, Ogston had mistaken hollowed clearance heaps for hut circles.
