The present church is a rectangular Gothic building constructed of tooled rubble with tooled and polished ashlar dressings. There is a south entrance in the form of a double doorway with a central shaft and a traceried window above, and a cross apex finial. There are five bays along the west-facing long elevation, with stepped buttresses and tall lancets. There is a four-stage tower at the southwest of the church, with paired lancets to the first stage, triple lancets to the second, a timber traceried belfry at the third stage and clock faces in the fourth stage parapet with a crown spire. There are diminishing buttresses running the height of the tower. There is a rose window in the north gable. The church is constructed from with tooled rubble walls, with tooled and polished ashlar dressings. The roof is slated with small triangular louvred vents. Within the vestibule of the church are two war memorials, one to the men of the church who lost their lives in World War I, the second to those who died in World War II.
