Full Description
Station built by the Great North of Scotland Railway, opened in 1886, and closed to regular passenger traffice in May 1968. Formerly a 2-platform through station with main offices at the up platform in a 2-storey, 11-bay coursed rubble building with access to the platform at first floor level. On the down platform is a long single storey wooden shelter. The platforms are linked by a lattice-girder footbridge with stone stairs.
