Full Description

A series of unidentified metal objects were revealed at this approximate location in March 2007 during a particularly low tide. The largest of the objects is roughly A-shaped, approximately 12 feet long and 6 feet wide at its widest point. Two large circular objects lay close by along with pipe-like object and a wooden object which appeared to be part of a pulley mechanism. The find was reported in a local newspaper, with the location given as 'just down from the ninth green at the golf course'. It is not known what these objects are, but they could be the remains of World War II defences. No artefacts were observed during site visit in 2022 as part of Moray Community Coastal Zone Assessment Survey (CCZAS).
