Full Description
War memorial commemorating World War I and II. In the form of a classical female allegorical figure of victory, holding a wreath representing peace. This figure rests on a turned circular pillar. Constructed from black granite by Gibbs Bros, Ashgrove Road, Aberdeen. Unveiled in July 1923 by Colonel John H. Wood. The World War II names were added, and dedicated 12 December 1948 by Dean of Guild James Wood. Full transcription of memorial held in AAS Digital Archive.
