Full Description
Harbour. A natural harbour improved by a L-plan pier, two straight piers and quay walls forming an outer basin and an inner basin, all in concrete. Depicted on the OS 2nd edition map which also shows a leading light: this comprised a small cylindrical steel tower with conical roof and cylindrical ventilator, the light reached by footholds set into the concrete of the wall. This appears to have been removed.
