Full Description

Former wool mills, no longer in use as such, set up by George Kynoch. The site dates to the early 19th Century and comprises a large group of 1-, 2-, and 3-storey buildings. There is a block of single storey former weaving sheds, while the main range consists of a 2-storey and attic block with three wide gables to the road and a 3-storey and attic 3 by 6 bay building with an ornamental corner turret. The site is now in use as a business park, with only one unit still working with textiles.
