Full Description

Remains of farmstead depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps which show two buildings, one north and one south of the road, each with an associated enclosure. The public road from Arndonald to Davidston passes through the remains of this farmstead which originally comprised of two buildings. Now only the building on the north side of the road remains. Field survey by CFA ahead of a proposed windfarm recorded the remains of a stone built building of which only the west gable now survives to a height of 3m. The remains were within dense commercial forestry plantation and there was no visible trace of the enclosure.
