Full Description
Remains of a farmstead which is shown on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. On the 1st edition map it is depicted as an L-shaped building with a square enclosure attached to the north-east. To the south-west is a second, shield-shaped, enclosure. By the 2nd edition map the south-western enclosure and most of the building have been removed. The remains comprise grass-covered footings of a long building lying north-south with an enclosure and small outbuilding on the east. Cultivation remains are also recorded, comprising a lynchet like formation over 46m in length.
