Full Description
Remains of a farmstead which is shown on the OS maps from the 1st edition map onwards. On the 1st edition map it is depicted as consisiting of two buildings forming an L-shaped range, with attached sub-divided enclosure on the west and horsemill within the larger enclosure, a disused small rectangular building to the south-east and a large enclosure with attached building to the east. By the 2nd edition map the horsemill has been moved to the southern gable of the northern of the two western buildings and the sub-divided enclosure has been removed. The disused building to the south has also been removed, and the eastern enclosure has been sub-divided. The 2006 map shows the remains of the eastern enclosure and the southern wing of the L-shaped range. The remains are now reduced to grass-covered footings of at least four buildings and three enclosures.
