Full Description

Remains of farmstead, comprising two buildings, a horse-mill, four stack-bases and an enclosure. The buildings have been extended and modified on several occasions. The enclosure is no longer complete, its west side presumably removed to make way for the horse-mill, which appears to have been added after 1902. The four stack-bases lie immediately west of the horse-mill. The farmstead is shown on both the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. On the former it appears as a single building with attached enclosure to the north and a well. The second building has been added by the time of the 2nd edition. The remains were recorded by CFA field survey in 2009, although only two stack-stands could be located in high vegetation.
