Full Description
A very denuded stone dyke running north-northeast, recorded by Forestry Commission survey and estimated as running between NJ 48914237 and NJ 48644253, although it is located in dense woodland and this location may not be accurate. It passes close to an enclosure (NJ44SE0079) for approximately 106 m. At this point there appears to be some type of structure measuring about 7 m x 5 m. The dyke turns north-west in a curving manner for approximately 80 m. The 18th century estate plan (NAS RHP 2296) shows no enclosures in this area and the dykes, presumably, predate the 18th century.
