Full Description
Remains of two buildings, recorded by Forestry Commission. One comprises the footings of a small cottage measuring approximately 10m x 4m and running down the slope at NJ 4912 4264. A dyke runs south-west from it for approximately 64m. This cottage lies in the area of an enclosure shown on the 1779 estate plan. The second, at NJ 4916 4266 is two celled and measures 8m by 4m externally. A single roofless building is shown on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps
