Full Description
Remains of farmstead, depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. The main building has been reduced to little more than footings. A second building lies to west-northwest, its walls have been reduced to grass-covered banks. On the west side of this building is a stackyard containing rows of grass-grown stack-bases. There are traces of enclosures around the farmstead and also several quarry-pits, one of which appears to pre-date the east end of the main building. Forestry Commission (C Shepherd) visit noted that a linear dyke and a few tumbled remains are all that are now obvious of the farmstead.
