Full Description

Two small overgrown stony mounds between which the parish boundary runs. They are probably field clearance cairns, of uncertain date. Two other groups also lie at NJ 4626 4291 and NJ 4600 4288 respectively, the former group lie on the east flank of hill, the latter on the southwest. Apart from the two patches of ground where cairns occur, the southern half of the hill has been cultivated, both in the 19th century and more recently. Of the northern half only part of the northeast flank has been improved but no trace of any cairns located.
