Full Description

Remains of a mound, possibly a burial mound or cairn, recorded during a topographical survey of Craig Dorney by the University of Aberdeen in 2023 (NJ43NW0016). A broadly circular mound that measures approximately 22 m in diameter and up to 1.5 m in height. The feature is also defined by the distinct change in vegetation in the area. This feature could represent a cairn or burial mound, though it could also be interpreted as field clearance.
