Full Description
Remains of a circular feature, possibly an enclosure or round-house, recorded during a topographical survey of Craig Dorney by the University of Aberdeen in 2023 (NJ43NW0016). It consists of a very faint circular feature measuring approximately 24 m in diameter, comprised of an outer ditch measuring 2 m wide, surrounding a central feature comprising a narrow 13.5 m diameter cut feature. This could represent a burial enclosure, or a large round-house defined by an enclosure, or a large drip-gully.
