Full Description
Three circular stone enclosures within a large sub-oval enclosure, now in the middle of forest. A later wall cuts across them. They are depicted on both the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps, 1867 and 1888, and on the latter are marked as sheepfolds. FC also note that although 19th century in date the sheepfolds sit within a more ancient field system, depicted on 18th century estate plans. There are further earthworks around the sheepfolds which may possibly be contemporary.
