Full Description
Remains of a building. The Hall of Tolophin is shown on a 1777 estate survey as an oblong structure orientated northwest to southeast. The site is depicted on the OS 1st edition map. No trace remains. The published site falls on the slopes of a small natural eminence rising above a burn. The obvious situation for the Hall is the summit to the southeast, now occupied by the turf-covered footings of a ruined building, 8m by 4m.
