Full Description
Houses, still in use. Number 20 was built in the early 19th century, with Number 19 added slightly later but is also depicted on the 1st edition OS map. Number 20 is a two-storey, three-window squared rubble house with moulded chimney copes, a forestair at the rear and a later porch at the front. Number 19 is two-window with a plain chimney, rectangular fanlight, a later bay window and features the inscription 'In this house Mackay of Uganda 1849-90 was born'.
