Description
A total of 150 test pits were dug by mini digger and hand cleaned. Results showed that the field has been subjected to intense agricultural practices since the early 1980s Kenworthy dig removing any significant archaeological potential. The area where the excavation had taken place was test pitted and no features identified. A small number of possible features produced samples of charcoal sampled for radiocarbon dating. Samples also taken from peat and soil. Director: Mesolithic Deeside
