Description

A site visit by RCAHMS in September 2001, recorded the 'recumbent' stone identified by Cruikshank, as an erratic granite boulder, measuring circa 5.8 m from north northeast to south southwest, by 3.2 m transversely and up to 1.6 m in height, with an incised letter 'M' circa 260 mm in height, and several natural cup-marks.
