Description

Lithic scatter recorded by fieldwalking carried out in January 2020 as part of the Mesolithic Deeside project. A total of 14 worked flints were recorded including three flakes, three blades, two cores, and a possible borer. The mix of flake and blade working across this area indicates activity from the Late Mesolithic to Late Neolithic. Other finds included small fragments of glazed ceramic, glass, a larger pieces of Seaton-type ceramic, one lead button, and a glass gaming counter.
