Description
Excavation recorded 35 features, of which 14 were stone voids, one of probable recent origin and one a probable 19th century field drain. Features considered to be of some antiquity comprised 5 or 6 post pits, a kiln and 12 hearths of varying complexity. Metal detecting found only modern objects. Charcoal samples taken 2006 for possible radicarbon dating. Director: SCO
