Description
Eight trenches were excavated in the are formerly occupied by the cinema. Trenches 1, 2 and 8 revealed 19th century cellars; Trench 4 revealed only construcion material related to the cinema; a 22th century industrial area and 1st-2nd century AD hearth or pit recorded in other trenches. Burnt heather recovered from pit for analysis and radiocarbon dating. Director: AAU
