Description
11 samples were taken from the site; 6 were processed. Wheat (cf. Tricitcum sp.) and barley (Hordeum sp.) cereal grains were identified from the samples; some of the barely was identified as a hulled variety (Hordeum var vulgare) but the wheat was too poorly preserved to identify further. Two seeds of wild taxa were recovered: one charred seed of knotgrass (Polygonum cf. aviculare) and a seed of pale persicaria/persicaria (Polygonum lapathifolium/persicaria. Small quantities of wood charcoal were recovered, but were too small for identification of species. Director: CFA Auspices: DEV
