Description

The excavation uncovered the extant sections of the north eastern and southwest revetment walls of a house platform as well as the putative ring bank and surface of the associated house. Large sherds of prehistoric pottery were recovered in situ, and charcoal samples from circular feature taken for radiocarbon dating. The C14 dates recovered from the large sections of alder charcoal point to a date of Late Bronze Age (circa 900 calBC) Director: NESARS; CHC
