Description

Excavation in the Upper Hall revealed at least 5 phases of use. Over 50 masons's marks wewre observed. Two small trenches in the cellar to establish depth of deposit. Samples taken of floor deposits, mortar, leather, rope, fabric and bone (preliminary report Greig, MK 1992). Full reports of all samples by AOC Ltd Director: MK GREIG Auspices: NTS Fund: NTS
