Description
The survey was aimed at identifying any features associated with the findspot of the stones. The only definite features visible on geophysical survey were east-west linear features of an old routeway across the Isla and Deveron and linking the two fords. The cairn was not identified. The lack of stone sockets for the stones is not surprising given the vague records of their findspots.
